"So We inspired him (saying): "Construct the ship under Our Eyes and under Our Revelation (guidance). Then, when Our Command comes, and the oven gushes forth water, take on board of each kind two (male and female), and your family, except those thereof against whom the Word has already gone forth. And address Me not in favour of those who have done wrong. Verily, they are to be drowned." [Al-Qur’an 23:27]
As Prophet Nuh diligently embarked on the task of constructing the ark, his efforts were challenged. Whenever the chiefs of his people passed by him, they mocked him. They teased and rejected his threats of the forthcoming flood.
Despite their taunts and scorn, Nuh REMAINED STEADFAST in his mission, unwavering in his commitment to obeying Allah's command.
The ark, constructed under Allah's guidance, was built using sturdy materials such as wood and nails. Its design and dimensions were specified by Allah Himself to ensure its seaworthiness and capacity to withstand the impending flood.
Upon completing the construction of the ark, Nuh turned to Allah in supplication, seeking his blessings and protection for himself, his family, and the believers who would accompany him on this journey. He entrusted their safety and well-being entirely to Allah's mercy, acknowledging His sovereignty and power over all things.
